Come Together Now
Let’s Come Together
Last time I read Ephesians 1:18, about God strengthening us. Today I am reading the verses right before that as we talk about our topic “Let’s Come Together.”
Ephesians 1:15-16 “Ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.”
Paul was not physically present with the believers in Ephesus, but he could do 2 things to bring them together:
1. He communicated by letter. Now, we are fortunate to have so many more ways to communicate than letters! Through his communication, He commended them for their faith in Jesus and love for one another. That is what we always need to focus on: faith and love.
2. He prayed for them by giving thanks and interceding to God on their behalf. We can come together in prayer!
